Biography

A Life Lived Out Loud

Born in Athens, Greece, and raised in Astoria, Queens, Greg Kritikos is a producer, comedian, actor, voice-over artist, and creator.

An event-producing machine, Greg’s energy and creativity know no limits. His mannerisms and stage presence have often been compared to those of his idol, the late, great Jackie Gleason.

Greg uses his real-life experiences in his comedy, turning some of the darkest chapters of his life, including poverty, addiction, and obesity, into laughter. His material transforms personal tragedy into hard-earned comedy. No matter the venue or size of the crowd, his goal is simple: make sure everyone leaves with a smile. After every show, he enjoys meeting fans, posing for pictures, and signing autographs.

“Everybody dies, but not everybody lives. I like to laugh with life, not at life.”

Greg’s comedy has taken him across the country, including Oregon, Idaho, Ohio, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Delaware. He has toured the Northwest several times, performing for packed houses at the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane and the NUVU Showhouse Theater in Metaline Falls, Washington. He has also performed at the Hackensack and Avenel Performing Arts Centers in New Jersey. Internationally, Greg has performed at multiple venues throughout Greece and Germany.

In New York City, Greg starred in his sold-out one-man show, “People Are Suspect,” at the Broadway Comedy Club, followed by another sold-out show, “Don’t Mess with My Mess!” at the Producer’s Club. In 2019, he toured the country with “Sober is the New High.”

Greg created the cartoon “The Witless Protection Program” and wrote and stars in the feature film “Tomorrow’s Today,” available on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. He has also been a regular guest on John Fugelsang’s SiriusXM show, “Tell Me Everything.”

Greg does motivational speaking with “My Sober Journey: A Story of Redemption,” hoping to help people suffering from addiction. He also produces the monthly “Broadway’s Got Talent” at the Broadway Comedy Club and hosts the podcast “NYC Views, News, & Reviews.”

In 2023, Greg performed “The Shoemaker’s Son: Stories from Astoria” in his hometown of Astoria, Queens. In 2024, he began producing and starring in “The Conny Show,” based on his viral TikTok video, “The Slice,” playing a pizza man with anger-management issues who serves up hot-tempered pizza.

Greg also recently completed production on “Scarred Angels,” a short film he wrote and starred in, which is set to be submitted to film festivals worldwide.

Now, New York’s Funny Man has officially gone international. After performing in Greece and Germany, Greg’s 2026 World Tour is heating up, with Norway and Barcelona next.
